Our environmental management system is certified to <strong>ISO 14001:2015<\/strong> by an accredited certification body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our products<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tree protection has historically relied on non-recoverable plastic that fragments in the soil. Vigilis was founded to change that. We design and manufacture protection products that are either:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>soil-biodegradable, so they break down naturally at the end of their working life; or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>fully recyclable, so they can be collected and returned to the supply chain.<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Product circularity is the central environmental commitment of our business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our operations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are committed to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>complying with all applicable environmental legislation in the jurisdictions in which we operate;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>preventing pollution and minimising waste, energy and water consumption at our manufacturing facilities;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>prioritising suppliers and freight partners who demonstrate measurable environmental performance;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>monitoring environmental performance through measurable objectives, reviewed at management level;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>continually improving our environmental management system in line with ISO 14001.<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Communication<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This policy is communicated to all employees, made available to suppliers and customers on request, and published openly on our website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Responsibility and review<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This policy is approved by the Board of Vigilis Lda.
