The Bio Shrub Shelter is designed to protect plants throughout the critical establishment phase — typically several years — before beginning to degrade. Degradation rate varies with soil conditions and climate: wetter, warmer soils degrade the material faster; drier, colder sites may see slightly longer service life. In most UK conditions, protection is maintained well past the point of establishment.
